LAWRENCE, MA - On February 2nd, Lawrence firefighters arrived on Swan St. to find fire showing from a two-and-a-half story wood-frame. Companies encountered heavy fire on floor 2 and Command struck a second-alarm, bringing in mutual aid to the fire and into the city. Command requested an additional engine to the scene for manpower over the second-alarm. Companies had the fire knocked down in a short amount of time and remained on scene overhauling and checking for extension.
