Dryer fire causes damage to rural Freeborn County home

FREEBORN COUNTY, MN - At 3:40 p.m. on January 31, 2010 Freeborn County dispatched Manchester Fire Department to smoke in a rural home located at 73033 270th Street.
En route Manchester requested Clarks Grove Fire Department to responded for mutual aid.
A firefighter from Manchester was close to the scene and his quick action in shutting power down before dispatched fire units arrival saved a lot of damage to the home.
The home suffered smoke damage and there was minor damage to the electrical area in the laundry room.
