Auburn, MA — January 5th — As part of a mutual aid assignment, Engine 1 of the Auburn Fire Department, located at 47 Auburn Street, responded to a reported structure fire at 62 Cross Street in the Town of Southbridge on January 5. When they arrived, Auburn firefighters worked with Southbridge Fire Department units and other responding agencies under the established incident command framework.

Engine 1 was tasked with maintaining scene coverage and assisting with suppression efforts on the fireground.
