CUNDY'S HARBOR, ME - The Cundy’s Harbor Volunteer Fire Department responded alongside the Orr’s and Bailey Islands Fire Department, Harpswell Neck Fire & Rescue, and the Brunswick Fire Department on January 23rd to a structure fire that was heavily involved upon arrival. The building was determined to be beyond saving when initial crews arrived. Firefighters confirmed all occupants had safely evacuated prior to fire department arrival. Despite the loss of the structure, coordinated suppression efforts successfully protected a neighboring residence located less than 25-feet away, preventing further damage and additional displacement.
