Fort Hunter Firefighters Support Guilderland at Fire Scene

On January 18th, the Fort Hunter Fire Company dispatched a crew from Engine 38 to assist the Guilderland Fire Department with fireground operations. Fort Hunter units responded as part of a concerted mutual aid effort. Engine 38 connected a five-inch supply line to the site and supplied water to Engine 27. After securing the water source, the Fort Hunter crew took on fire suppression duties, collaborating with firefighters from various departments using the incident command system.
