Highland Lakes Fire Department Celebrates Training Graduates

January 8 — Vernon Township, NJ: At the recent event at the Sussex County Public Safety Training Academy, the Highland Lakes Fire Department honored graduates. Chuck Paladino successfully completed Firefighter I and Firefighter II training, and Tyler Mueller finished the Fire Officer Development program. Department officials praised both members for the time, effort, and commitment required to complete these demanding courses. Vernon Township was again well represented in 2025, with members from all four township fire departments completing various levels of training throughout the year.
