Another year of active service to the borough's citizens, tourists, and business sector was marked by the Keyport Fire Department's presentation of their final response numbers for 2025. The department dealt with 475 incidents in total during the year. Twenty-three building fires were among the 46 fire-related calls that firefighters responded to. Additionally, crews served as the first-due company at eleven fires and participated in two extrication situations. Additionally, the department responded to nine second-due box assignments as an engine or truck business and 41 times offered assistance to nearby cities.
No calls were dropped because of staffing during the year, according to department officials, demonstrating constant availability and coverage. Annual call data are utilized to support long-term planning, direct training priorities, and monitor operational demands.
