Jan 25 — A car overturned into a river close to the intersection of River Road and Flanders Draketown Road during a winter storm, prompting the Budd Lake Volunteer Fire Department to react to their first weather-related emergency of the season. The car was partially submerged when firefighters arrived. While coordinating with other responding public safety authorities, crews sought to secure the area and aid residents. Road closures were not necessary, and only minor injuries were reported. With caution, traffic might still pass through the region.
