Grand Island Fire Company Installs 2026 Officers, Honors Service and Achievement

GRAND ISLAND, NY - The Grand Island Fire Company held its 2026 Installation Dinner on January 18th, formally swearing in its elected firematic and administrative officers while recognizing outstanding service and dedication among its members. Surrounded by family, guests, and fellow volunteers, officers reaffirmed their commitment to protecting the Grand Island community. Former Town Councilman Christian Bahleda served as the installing official and was presented with an American flag in appreciation of his support and assistance with contract negotiations. The evening also highlighted numerous awards recognizing exceptional training, leadership, and service, underscoring the company’s continued commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and community safety.
