Eden Volunteer Fire Department Rings in the New Year, Honors Leadership and Invites Community to Serve
January 2, 2026 — As the new year begins, the Eden Volunteer Fire Department extended New Year’s wishes to the community while reflecting on the close of 2025 and the importance of volunteer service.
The department recognized the dedication and leadership of outgoing officials Malcolm VanKoughnett, Chief, and Tom Schreiner, President, thanking them for their commitment to safety and operational excellence.
