Armor Volunteer Fire Company, Inc. marked the close of 2025 by highlighting a year of continued dedication and service to the Town of Hamburg and surrounding communities. The department responded to 1,175 calls for service throughout the year, a slight decrease of 63 calls from the record-setting 1,238 responses in 2024.
Department officials noted that the reduction was largely attributed to the successful launch of the Town of Hamburg EMS, which assumed responsibility for many medical calls. Fire officials emphasized that without the addition of the EMS service, Armor’s call volume would likely have exceeded the previous year’s record.
The department expressed gratitude to the community for its continued support and reaffirmed its commitment to being there whenever help is needed as the new year begins.
