Hauppauge, NY - Firefighters were activated for a reported structure fire at 195 Lincoln Blvd. on January 27th. The first chief to arrive on scene found flames shooting through the roof and reactivated for a working fire. Mutual aid was requested from Smithtown and Nesconset Fire Departments. Arriving firefighters were hampered, as the house was located in the woods and all three lines needed to be strected through the woods, as well as a two-and-a-half inch line. The fire was placed under control about 45 minutes in, and no injuries were reported.
