January 24, Hernando Fire responded to this dwelling fire on Peach Tree Drive around 1430hrs On dispatch of BC 1 BC2 Engines 12, 14 R12 R13 Quint 1 and Quint 2, heavy smoke was visible from a distance. On arrival of Police they encountered a nude man runing around the exterior and demanding the Police get off his property.

When the FD arrived the home was pretty well involved and brush began to catch fire behind the dwelling and with some light wind was moving along the area. Tanker shuttle was sent to the scene due to lack of hydrants in the area. Also Pasco County Fire send a brush and tanker truck to the scene to assist with the brush fire. It took 45 minutes to bring the fires under control
