Just before sunset in Ceder Hammock Fire District units were dispatched to a reported house fire. Units on route reported a large black plume of smoke in the area. On arrival they found half a duplex well involved, wires down in the backyard and a well-established brush fire threating homes. Forces were split to control the fires. Mutual Aid from Southern Manatee and City of Bradenton.
