WASHINGTON TWP., NJ - On January 26th, a reported house fire prompted the Washington Township Fire Department, Glassboro Fire Department, and Mantua Township Fire Department to respond to the 700 block of Hurffville Crosskeys Road. Firefighters found a working fire at the house as soon as they arrived. Crews were able to quickly put out the fire and checked for extension to make sure it hadn't spread to other parts of the building. There were no reported injuries. Additionally, Washington Township EMS provided on-site assistance and was ready to offer medical assistance if necessary.
