Fair Lawn FD makes Quick Work of House Fire

On Tuesday April 14, at approximately 130pm, a neighbor called Fair Lawn Police and reported smoke coming from a home on the 38 Block of Paterson St.. 1st arriving police units found a working kitchen fire in the single family home. No one was home at the time. Chiefs Salvini, Palmieri and Rinaldo were on scene. A working fire was transmitted, bringing a 2nd alarm response from mutual aid companies. The fire was contained to the kitchen which received extensive damage. There were no injuries. Fair Lawn Rescue and Fair Lawn Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded.
