Mantua Firefighters Complete Probationary Year

Firefighters Ryan Kanauss and Santino Donnian were honored on January 6 by the Mantua Township Fire Department for successfully completing a year of probation. Firefighter Kanauss, who has been with the department for more than two years, celebrated one year of service as a career fireman. He is currently working under Captain Torino's direction at B Shift. Donnian, a firefighter, has been a volunteer with the department since he was fourteen years old. He has been a per-diem firefighter for the past year and currently works on all four shifts. During the recognition, Captain Torino presented both firefighters with their senior member front pieces, marking an important milestone in their careers and continued service to the community.
