Gehring took the oath of office and officially became a member of the Logan Township public safety community while surrounded by her family, township leaders, and police officers. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Rowan University in 2025. Gehring was a Class I Special Law Enforcement Officer of the Mantua Police Department. In February, she will start a 20-week police academy. After that, she will spend several months in the field with a seasoned Field Training Officer.
