Bayonne, NJ — January 8 — The Bayonne Office of Emergency Management reported a one-alarm car fire along LeFante Way. After arriving, Bayonne Fire Department units started working to contain the fire and protect the area.

In addition to putting out the car fire, firefighters looked for any potential risks. During the incident, traffic management and scene safety were aided by the Bayonne Police Department and the Bayonne Department of Public Works. While emergency personnel worked, officials warned drivers to stay away from the area. Responders were able to safely handle the situation while causing the least amount of disturbance to the neighborhood because to the coordinated response.
