CENTER MORICHES, NY - On Friday, December 30, 2022 just before 9:30 A.M., the Center Moriches FD and Suffolk County Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash on Frowein Road, between Robinson St. and Railroad Ave. On arrival, it was discovered that a medical transport vehicle had crashed into the side of a home. The diver of the medical transport van, a 59-year-old male, was removed from the vehicle and taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The scene was turned over to Suffolk Police for investigation. The Brookhaven Town Fire Marshal's Office was also on scene.
