WALTHAM, MA - On January 22nd, Waltham Fire dispatched Squad 5, Rescue 1 and Medic 1 from Newton to a car into a building. On arrival, units found an SUV that had knocked over a street sign and nearly hit a building at 52 Elm Street. They also discovered that the SUV had side swiped an MBTA bus on Carter Street, about 200-feet down the street. The driver was taken to Newton Wellesley Hospital with minor injuries.
