This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

Bergen County Dispatch used the occasion to rename its fire vehicles in accordance with the new system after switching to Originating Agency Identifier (ORI) numbers for apparatus designation. The re-lettering improves communication and response efficiency by ensuring that equipment is consistently and clearly identified throughout dispatching and emergency operations. The update brings the department's fleet into compliance with the most recent county dispatch guidelines. We would especially like to thank Box Alarm Grilles LLC and Fire and Safety Services NJ for their help and bespoke work on the device. Their assistance enabled the job to be finished quickly and to a high standard. The fleet is now using the revised lettering.
