Bergen County Dispatch used the occasion to rename its fire vehicles in accordance with the new system after switching to Originating Agency Identifier (ORI) numbers for apparatus designation. The re-lettering improves communication and response efficiency by ensuring that equipment is consistently and clearly identified throughout dispatching and emergency operations. The update brings the department's fleet into compliance with the most recent county dispatch guidelines. Their assistance enabled the job to be finished quickly and to a high standard. The fleet is now using the revised lettering.
