On Monday evening, January 17th 2022, westside Baltimore County firefighters were alerted for a reported apartment fire on Brookebury Drive at The Preserve at Owings Crossing Apartments in Reisterstown (Fire Box 56-3).  Baltimore County Fire Department Engine 56 from the Reisterstown station arrived with heavy fire from a 3-story garden-style apartment building and requested both a Working Fire Dispatch and a 2nd Alarm assignment. Crews made an aggressive attack with multiple hoselines and were able to extinguish the fire in about an hour. Several volunteer fire companies from Carroll County responded on mutual aid. The Baltimore County Police Department arrested an individual on arson charges in connection with this fire.
