Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company Reports 618 Calls for Service in 2025

January 9, 2026 — In 2025, the members of the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded to a total of 618 calls for service, reflecting another busy year of service to the community. The calls included 60 structure and vehicle fires, 29 outdoor and brush fires, 14 extrication rescues, 71 chemical or gas releases, 36 electrical problems and downed wires, and 408 alarm system activations and public assistance calls. The department credits the dedication of its volunteer members and the continued support of local residents, emphasizing its mission of neighbors helping neighbors throughout the year.
