The Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 responded to a total of 51 dispatched calls for service throughout the month of December 2025, reflecting a wide range of emergency and public safety responses within the community. Calls included four structure fires, four EMS assists, two vehicle fires, and two extrication or rescue incidents. Firefighters also handled 10 spills or leaks, two electrical wiring or equipment incidents, and five reports of smoke conditions. Additional activity included 16 unintentional alarm activations, five dispatched calls that were canceled while en route, and one good intent call. The call volume highlights the continued operational demands placed on volunteer firefighters as they provided around-the-clock service to protect life and property during the winter month.
