Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2027, honoring a century of volunteer firefighting in the town. According to department officials, accomplishing this milestone is the result of years of effort, leadership, and sacrifice by successive generations of members. To mark the occasion, the firm is distributing 100th anniversary challenge coins. Each coin costs $20, and all earnings go towards department operations such as maintenance, utility expenditures, and training. Residents and supporters are encouraged to visit the firehouse on Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. to purchase a coin or take a tour of the station. The firehouse is at 6609 Black Horse Pike, Egg Harbor Township.
