Salem City, NJ — December 25 — The Alloway Twp. Fire Company, located at 17 E. Main Street in Alloway, responded as mutual aid to a reported building fire in Salem City on the evening of December 25. As part of the overall fireground plan, Ladder 19-6 was assigned to the event and helped with roof operations. In order to support ventilation operations and enhance interior suppression conditions, crews collaborated with Salem City firemen. Ladder companies and interior crews coordinated to carry out operations under leadership. There have been no reports of injuries involving Alloway employees. The reaction demonstrated the ongoing value of mutual help throughout Salem County, guaranteeing that sufficient personnel and resources are available to handle structural fires, especially those that happen on holidays.
