Alloway Township, NJ — December 20 — After responding to a different wires incident in the township, the Alloway Twp. Fire Company, located at 17 E. Main Street, responded to a car accident. While still committed to the first assignment, Ladder 19-6 was informed about the second incident and went straight to the scene. When personnel arrived, they discovered a two-car collision in which a patient was stuck inside one of the vehicles. In order to facilitate patient exit and provide access for EMS staff, firefighters removed a door. Before being moved to EMS care, the patient's non-life-threatening injuries were assessed and treated. During a technical rescue situation, the reaction demonstrated efficient coordination between fire and EMS units, enabling prompt patient access, controlled operations, and safe scene management.
