Firefighters in Wildwood City responded to 272 fire and emergency medical events in December 2025. During the month, employees of the Fire Prevention Bureau performed 449 fire safety inspections across the city in addition to responding to emergencies. According to the department's yearly statistics, there was still a lot of activity in 2025. Wildwood City Fire Department units responded to 4,051 fire and emergency medical situations during the year. In order to support continuous efforts to lower risk and enhance public safety, fire prevention personnel also executed 6,601 fire safety inspections.
