Frankford Township, N.J. — December 31st — Due to a suspected smoke condition inside a home, the Frankford Township Fire Department, Beemerville Fire Company, and Blue Ridge Rescue Squad were sent to Dalrymple Road. When Chief 64-1 arrived, he concluded that a fireplace and chimney malfunction was the root of the problem. Before resuming service, crews helped remove the chimney and firebox, looked for an extension, and made sure the house was secure.

Members honored departing Chief Rob Peer for three years of leadership as the department wrapped out the last hours of its current officer slate. Warm regards were sent to the 2026 officers, Deputy Chief Jeremy Bell, and incoming Chief Michael Dann as they take over in the new year.
