Last year, a few days before Christmas, the Rahway Fire Department wrapped up deliveries as part of its annual gift-giving program. Santa Claus accompanied firefighters as teams visited local families all across the city, much like in previous years. The program's main objective is to make youngsters in the community happy by helping households that might benefit from additional assistance during the holiday season. In keeping with a long-standing departmental custom, members collaborated to arrange, package, and deliver gifts.
