December 19, 2025 — The Milton Fire Department marked another successful year of community giving as Operation FireCuffs returned for its ninth consecutive year, bringing toys and smiles to children at the Children’s Hospital. Now in its 15th year overall, the annual toy drive once again highlighted the generosity of Milton residents, support from local businesses, and the dedication of firefighters who volunteered their time to make the event possible. Firefighters filled an engine with donated toys—continuing a growing tradition and setting their sights even higher for next year. The event underscored the strong bond between the department and the community it serves, proving that the spirit of the season is alive and well, even when it means sacrificing a seat in the cab to give a special guest a ride.
