MedEvac Launched for Driver that Crashed Into Pole in Newburgh

NEWBURGH, NY - Town of Newburgh Police and the Cronomer Valley FD responded to a vehicle into a telephone pole on Union Ave., in the area of Floral Drive, on January 18th.
Firefighters assisted EMS with removing one subject from the vehicle. Town of Newburgh EMS requested a MedEvac launched for the injured driver, and a landing zone was set up at Cronomer Valley firehouse's parking lot. Town of Newburgh EMS and Mobile Life ALS transported the subject to the landing zone where they were stabilized and brought to an awaiting MedEvac.
Town of Newburgh Police are investigating the incident.
