On December 7, 2025, the Sheffield-Wheelock Volunteer Fire Department held its annual holiday dinner, bringing together current and former members along with their families to celebrate the season and recognize years of service. During the evening, the department formally honored Leslie Ham for reaching an extraordinary milestone of 50 years of dedication to the department and the communities it serves. In recognition of his lifelong commitment, Ham was awarded a Lifetime Membership, drawing appreciation and gratitude from fellow members. Department leaders thanked everyone who attended and emphasized the importance of honoring those whose long-term service has helped shape the department’s legacy.
