On January 2, the Town of Westfield, NJ Fire Department responded to a fifth-alarm warehouse fire in Roselle Park. As part of a massive, multi-alarm response that necessitated substantial mutual help from fire departments around Union County and the neighboring areas, Engine 5 was deployed to the event. The commercial building's fire suppression activities were supported by crews operating under the incident command structure.
