Concord, NH — 2nd January — The new Tower 1 apparatus has been delivered to the Concord, New Hampshire Fire Department, expanding their fleet with a cutting-edge piece of equipment. Crews will finish manufacturer-led training on the new equipment's features and safe use after delivery.

Radios, tools, and other operating equipment will be installed after training is complete. After that, the equipment will go through one more inspection before being put to use. According to department officials, this procedure helps guarantee that firemen are adequately equipped to use new equipment in a safe and efficient manner. With an estimated in-service date of February, Tower 1 is anticipated to go into active operation later this winter. The new equipment will enhance overall response capability and help rescue and fire suppression efforts around the city.
