Chichester, NH — 23rd December — Members of the Chichester Fire Department had a hectic afternoon dealing with consecutive occurrences that called for coordinated actions. A multi-vehicle collision on Route 4 close to Cross Road prompted the first response from the crews. Together with an ambulance from the Epsom Fire Department, Ambulance 1, Engine 2, Rescue 2, and Chief 1 were on the scene. Firefighters secured cars and helped clear the road as two victims were taken to Concord Hospital.

Chichester units were sent to a second-alarm structure fire on Pittsfield's South Main Street as crews were still returning to duty. Together with Pittsfield teams and local mutual aid partners, firefighters supported fire suppression efforts and provided coverage throughout the protracted crisis.
