Hardwick Fire Investigates Propane Odor on Mill Street

On January 3, 2026, at 10:29 a.m., the Hardwick Fire Department was dispatched to the Mill Street area for a reported odor of propane. Engine 2 responded with seven members, who conducted a thorough investigation of the area. No propane leak or hazardous condition was found, and the scene was determined to be safe. All personnel were back in service by 11:08 a.m.
