In 2025, the Centre Moriches Fire Department handled 2,026 emergency calls, demonstrating again another hectic year of community assistance. Calls included water rescues, EMS replies, carbon monoxide situations, car crashes and building fires. Throughout the year, volunteer firefighters and EMS providers answered calls at all hours, operating in a wide variety of conditions to protect lives and property.
