Traffic Signal Issue Cleared on State Route 36

ARKPORT, NY — Jan. 19: On Friday night, Arkport Hose Co. #1 Inc. gave an update on the Village's traffic situation. After previous activities in the vicinity, the street was reopened at around 9:00 p.m. Due to a broken traffic signal, crews had been working on State Route 36 near West Avenue in the Village. For a while, firefighters stayed on the site to deal with the problem and guarantee safe traffic flow. While the matter was being handled, drivers passing through the area were advised to exercise caution. Crews cleared the area and resumed operations after the traffic light problem was resolved.
