DELHI, NY — December 17 — A difficult day of emergency operations was handled by the Delhi Fire Department, which is located at 140 Delview Terrace Extension in Delhi, New York. Three EMS runs, a gas emergency and a car accident were among the seven fire and EMS calls that the crews responded to. The department offered mutual aid at a building fire in a nearby village as the day came to an end.

Before the conclusion of the day, firefighters, EMS workers, and auxiliary members rotated crews, repaired equipment, and put all apparatus back into action. While Delhi units were committed, the Franklin Fire Department helped maintain district coverage by offering standby support. The action demonstrated coordinated staffing and mutual aid readiness across operations, as well as a consistent winter call volume.
