Ferrisburgh Fire Responds to Early-Morning Single-Vehicle Crash

FERRISBURGH, VT - Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department responded early Monday morning, December 1, 2025, to a single MVA at the intersection of Route 7 and Loven Lane.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., Ferrisburgh Fire was dispatched to the scene and activated FAST, which responded with a crew of four members. Upon arrival, firefighters found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and come to rest against a guardrail.
Crews immediately secured the vehicle and ensured the scene was safe while patient care operations began. The occupant was evaluated on scene by Vergennes Area Rescue Squad. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported.
Fire personnel remained on scene to assist with traffic safety and hazard mitigation while the incident was assessed. After confirming there were no additional hazards, Ferrisburgh Fire cleared the scene at approximately 7:38 a.m. The incident was then turned over to the Vermont State Police for further investigation.
