Hinsdale Firefighters Attend Celebration of Life for Past Chief David Cowburn

Members of the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department attended South Bay Fire Department Past Chief and Emergency Manager David Cowburn's Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 3. Fire Captain Zachary Poff, Assistant Chief Christopher Culkin, and Former Chief John Roder represented the department. Their attendance paid tribute to a well-known firefighter who spent many years providing leadership and emergency management services to his community. Firefighters, their families, and coworkers from around the fire department had the chance to consider Chief Cowburn's dedication, professionalism, and enduring influence at the event. Recognizing Chief Cowburn's service and legacy throughout the fire service community, department members sent their sympathies to the Cowburn family and the South Bay Fire Department.
