On December 24, calls to Eastern Broome Emergency Services and the Deposit Fire Department persisted far into the night. Crews were sent to a tractor-trailer rollover accident in the Town of Deposit after responding to a house fire in the Town of Sanford earlier. Before resolving the issue, fire and emergency medical professionals secured the area and dealt with any risks on the route. Responders were dispatched to a suspected building fire in the Town of Deposit later that evening. Crews investigated and found that the event was caused by a problem with the building's HVAC system rather than a fire.
