Mount Joy Fire Department crews assisted the borough on the morning of January 4, 2026, with the safe removal of decorations from the town Christmas tree. Using department apparatus and ladders, firefighters worked alongside borough personnel to take down ornaments and lighting, helping officially close out the holiday season. The department thanked the community for a happy and safe holiday and appreciated the continued support throughout the year.
