Blasting Scheduled at Amazon Warehouse Site in Hanover Township

January 6, 2026 – An informational notice was issued advising residents of scheduled blasting activity at the Amazon warehouse construction site off Dziak Drive in Hanover Township. According to the notification, blasting will take place on Tuesday, January 6; Thursday, January 8; and Friday, January 9, between the hours of 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. each day. The site, associated with Amazon, is located in Hanover Township and overlooks the Hanover section of Nanticoke. Residents in the surrounding area may hear or feel vibrations during the scheduled times and are advised that the activity is planned and controlled.
