Tunkhannock Township, PA — December 24 — The annual election of tactical and administrative officers for the 2026 year was just held at Tunkhannock Township Volunteer Fire Company Station 42.

Fire Chief George Henning, Deputy Chief Byron Witt, Assistant Chief Shaun Hineline, Captain John Buz, Lieutenant Bryan Young, Engineer Jack Polan, Assistant Engineer Joe Weitz, Safety Officer Brian Dipasquale, Fire Police Captain Jose Valderrama, and Fire Police Lieutenant Kevin Comstock are among the elected operational officers.

President John Buz, Vice President Joe Weitz, Secretary Bryan Young, and Treasurer Angie Henning are among the administrative leaders chosen for 2026. Additionally, Byron Witt, Kevin Comstock, and Kathleen Jones were elected to the Board of Directors.
