Half-Century of Service Recognized for Hibell and Drucker

Middletown, NJ — December 15 — Two long-time employees of the Middletown Township Fire Department were honoured for their 50 years of community service. After 50 years of service to the people of Belford and Middletown, Bill Hibell of Company 7 in Belford received a Key to the City. Hibell continues to be involved in Company 7 while training younger members. He has held almost every position within the organization, including Chief of Department in 2004. John Drucker of Middletown Fire Company No. 1, Station 8, was also honoured by fire officials for reaching the same 50-year milestone and still serving at the departmental level. According to department officials, both individuals represent a lengthy history of dedication, expertise, and service within the Middletown fire community.
