On December 19, Wilkins Township Volunteer Fire Company No. 1's Units 302RE and 302ENG arrived to help the Turtle Creek Fire Department with a structure fire. Crews from Wilkins Township were tasked with helping with the first search and fire assault operations inside the building as soon as they arrived. After being knocked down, firefighters kept working on a thorough overhaul to make sure all hot spots were taken care of. Under supervision, junior members helped with outside operations. Before being freed by command and going back to work, crews worked on the site for a little over an hour.
