A Daytona Beach citizen received an early Christmas gift this year when the Daytona Beach Fire Department was able to provide a much needed donation. A local senior who is currently enrolled in Daytona Beach Fire Department’s Community Paramedicine Program has been maneuvering around town with a manual wheel chair for over 5 years due to an amputated leg. While he has been making due with his circumstances this was causing additional medical issues. Travis Anderson, the department’s Community Paramedicine Office, was able to provide this individual with a mobility scooter from an anonymous donor on behalf of the fire department.
